Most word games reward the person who knows the most words. Acrosticism levels the playing field by rewarding the cleverest mind at the table. Your goal isn't to find words in the dictionary. It's to reverse-engineer a phrase from the letters of a Word Card you're dealt.

How It Works

The Theme: Flip a Theme Card, anything from "a terrible name for a new perfume" to "a motto for surviving a bad Monday."

The Challenge: Acrosticize your Word Card into a backronym that fits the theme. You have 2 minutes. Each letter becomes the start of a new word.

The Verdict: The Judge picks their favorite. The most creative, hilarious, or fitting entry wins the Theme Card.
